Thread: Steel FP rams and buffertanks

  1. #1
Steel FP rams, 50mm bore, 100mm stroke.
These were custom made for the Clusterbot V³ what never came to be, after years of gathering dust, these old school FP rams came back, and 2 are for sale. Adaptation to the new machine can be done in a pinch.

2 Double sodastream Buffertanks with mounting and PRV (picture follows)

1 3L FP buffertank from Obsidian also with PRV and several in and outlets.

1 1.7L FP buffertank with 3/4 BSP female tread.

  2. #2
    what do the rams weigh?

  3. #3
can you put up/email the picture of the sodastream buffer tank?

  4. #4
The FP rams, with the current pivotpoint at the bottom ,were ment for the classic setup, and in a 33kg clusterpart, so they are a tad heavy to current norm. 1.2 kg. But they can be brought down to less than 1 kg if they get rebuild to Gravity style.

The Sodastream buffertanks were ment to be used in a heavy with very little internal space.
This one (of 2) weights 1.7 kg, each sodastream bottle is 650 grams for 0.650L volume (L320mm D60mm total length 365mm).

thanks, what's are the port sizes on the rams?

  6. #6
    Whatever ports you need.
These are custom, and can be customized further. After all, those are steel, and that just takes an anglegrinder and a welder to put other ports on them.

  7. #7
cool, could you tell me the dimensions of the rams excluding rear pivot?

  8. #8
    No , I can't.

    Just kidding.
OD on the collar is 72mm , total length without pivot 140mm ( not surprising, with a stroke of 100mm. 5mm bottom plate, 17mm piston and 12 lid + the rest in sticking out rod)
