if its the common scooter motor people seem to use, its the large diameter one - something like this http://img.auctiva.com/imgdata/4/7/8...09684322_o.jpg - a 24v 500 watt. These are usually connected to a 30amp max/peak current of 30 amps.

However, alot of people use Botbitz TZ85A converted ESC to run these motors. - UK supplier http://ranglebox.com/product/botbitz...2-brushed-esc/ or DIY witha hobbyking purchase (other libnks available but this was a quick google search: http://www.robowars.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1609)

I will be using a self programmed TZ85a to power my 250watt 24v electric scooter motor.

    Others may use other things...

I would go for the reprogrammed TZ85. That's about as foolproof as it can be for RW.

We're using a SimonK flashed one in , on the axe powered with a NTM5060 380KV

Fast explanation. That motor is rated for 30 ampère continous use. Not 30 ampère hours

If you want to run it for an hour at the rated load, yes. But as our fights are at longest 5 minutes, you'll need a lot less. About 10 times less. Also, you're not running all out for the full fight.

Kashei uses a 5000mAh 4S pack. Just to give you an idea.
