Thread: Antweight brushed ESCs

Google-fu is failing me, fellow roboteers.

While I'm well aware that Rory has his very nice DSM based setup and I'm sure it works for many..... I don't want a full setup of bits all ready to go as that just removes half the fun.

I'm aware that Dimension Engineering make a very nice 2x5A controller - but... I paid less for my featherweight brushless controllers (TZ85As) and I'm pretty convinced I ought to be able to prototype my own dual channel ESC for about the same price as a Dimension Engineering one. That and I don't get along with Dimension controllers - I seem to be adept at releasing the magic white smoke from them.....

So any other suggestions before I go and start designing my own..... I cannot think that two products between them run the entire fleet of antweight machines across the UK......

have a look at the baby orangutang-b boards. its an atmel microcontroller connected to motor driver chip.
I used this circuit diagram, and the code to help start me developing my own controller.

Try the DasMikro2S6A. It's not as good as the NanoTwo I've heard, but I know a couple of people use it, including Harry from Team Panoramic. https://www.banggood.com/2S6A-Micro-...p-1032413.html
