    it weighs in at 13.5kg with the axe head fitted, so we are in the limit - just!

    Post-Insomnia 61 obligatory "it got broken" post:

    The event was great fun, and I learned a lot being there - including lots of ways I can improve Battleaxe. It's quite a list of things, but the most obvious being, the type of mild steel I used isn't up to being spinner (or more precisely, 722) proof.

    I will probably repair this properly and keep Battleaxe 1 running for a while, whilst work gets under way on a new version

    What happen to the axehead as I do not see it in any of the bouts. Where you overweight or something ?

    No, it's there bar the last whiteboard fight. I did want to go larger, but yes weight stopped that. I'm designing the new one to be bigger and have better impact
