Thread: A couple of questions

  1. #1
this should probably go in the rules area but i thought it would be relevant here as well, seen as i mean featherweights in particular. does the active weapons rule apply to featherweights? i'm making one and seen ad it's my first, i've decided to go for the classic rambot. i'm just wondering if i need to give it a small actuator lifter or grasping mechanism, however only if i need to because it would simplify things a great deal if i could go without. also, i have another question; should i use four large wheels and four motors, or six smaller wheels, again, with four motors?

For the more sedate "in between fights" on the predominantly heavy focused events, a pure rammer isn't a problem.

For the feather champs, it can be.

Wheels, amount or size. It's the "softness" and contactsurface on the floor that counts, not the amount of wheels used.

But 6 driven wheels have the disadvantage demanding even more power to make tight corners or spin on the spot than a 4 driven wheel machine.
