So I tried to repair and improve Killer-Wolf, but that didn't work out to well, clearly the poor wolf wasn't going to be able to lick its wounds from AWS as I first thought.

So the solution was to build a bigger version (seeing as I now understand the size rules better) that would make the improvements easier to make.

    things that needed addressing:

    1. fix the balance and hight of the wheel mountings, as Killer-wolf was not driving straight.
    2. replace the battery with a lighter one, possibly use a lipo.
    3. better protect the power switch.
    4. Better servo mounting and better flipper hinge.

So I've been working on Killer-Wolf 1.5 and considered using my software to help work out ideas, below is a screenshot of a model of Killer-wolf new size to check if it can still fit the 4inch cube.

And this is an example of me coming up with ideas that would be nice to test out (but I don't have a 3D printer) anyway this is I design for a hinge that can be fitted to Killer-wolf. At the AWS Killer-wolf's flipper used cable ties (last minute solution to the weight problem) while it handled a direct hit by 'slice to meet you' it didn't provide a clean axis and movement to the flipper, I was recommended to use hinges off of old VHS cases, but they looked and felt weak.

thanks, from the test drives I've done it's looking like it is greatly improved, weapon on the other hand is giving me a headache, Killer-Wolf would benefit from parts made on a 3d printer.
