Thread: removable link roboteq ?

  1. #1
Hi all my roboteq uses 2 batteries 22.2v drive batt and 12v controller input as it is a very early version as the 12v batt only powers rc and controller, and all the other parts ie, motors, co2 burketts are all 22.2v they cant miss fire or jolt.

question does the 12v supply need a removable link or use a switch for when in the pit area to save power ????????

When you remove the link all power should be cut off from the machine. You could get around it by putting a 24v relay on the 22v circuit and having the load side on the 12v circuit. So when the link is removed, the relay opens and cuts the 12v power.

good option I had considered a 24v step down, just wanted to not surge to roboteq too much
