Where did you get those gears and motors from? Seems extremely compact, that kind of setup for drive!

The motors are now discontinued/out of stock it would seem. They were originally from here: http://www.pollin.de/shop/dt/Mjk0OTg...HC885G_AS.html

The right angle gears are for cheap 4" angle grinders. Got a set of 3 on ebay from China for 12 quid delivered :P. They're pretty rough in truth, both in finish and meshing, but I popped open the kind of grinder they go in a while ago and they were worn in and smooth running. The belts and pulleys are all from www.beltingonline.com.

Bulkheads are now being machined, I'm soon going to order a Spektrum dx6i and a 5s Optipower LiPo. Once that's done I'm going to go across to the workshop and start making anything I can to make assembly once the bulkheads arrive that little bit faster. Ball is gradually getting rolling, sadly it's now less than two months until the champs!

Mounting plate, standoffs and shaft support. The bearing will sit into the bulkhead this lot bolts to.

I wouldn't buy that, £36 for the motor, £11 for postage and £12 import charge.

How did you make the brushless plate?
