Found this link on RL's twitter page:

http://uktv.co.uk/dave/series/tvseries/1457

Seems that RW Extreme Series 1 will be airing on Dave. Says it's next on at 9am on Monday 2nd August, so I don't know if episodes have been on already or if it's just starting on Monday.

Yes it's a repeat and it's on stupidly early but any coverage is good coverage right?

looks good... A possibility perhaps for an EO to get their foot in the door and get an event filmed and on TV? Hope so...

Possible. It wouldn't even be the first commercially viable programme kicked off BBC2 that they've picked up. *coughs* Red Dwarf *cough*

yeah, it would fit in well with the kinda audience Dave appeals to already... Would be great though :) And pretty east for them to make as well... Just send some cameras to an event really... Might wanna glam it up a bit but still, would get my vote :)

I can think of some teams that would take an awfull lot of glamming up and would therefore blow the budget out of the water

Six times too many :P
Was watching RW this morning and the info for the Gadget Show on after it said it was going to be the robot episode, but tuned in and found out it wasn't :(
Oh well, probably seen it enough times already.

I did see a young, fresh-faced Mr. Cairns winning the middleweight competition though
Must've been, what, 13/14 there Gary? I know this series of Extreme was before Series 5 but can't remember what year it aired.

Its good to see it back on tv, might even spark a revival to tv if it gets enough ratings.
Thinking about it, there has been enough time for a new generation of Robot Wars core market (children 7-14) that it could work. hopefully.
