Dont know anything on the cells but the import limit to the UK is only £18 anything above that you get taxed on the full amount

I think its about £68 inc postage, the reason for the high postage is because ebay charge them 10% final value fee but nothing on the postage !
there is another seller from china or hong kong that charge £80 inc p+p

Why bother? The prices are fairly steep there and then you have shipping and import taxes

Fair play, I'd offer to solder you up a pack but I wouldn't be able to do so anytime soon as I'm not gonna be back in my workshop for a good month at least.

Alex, we bought a set of Nicads from RMP a few years ago, one pack went up in smoke which was probably due to us charging them after fighting Thz without inspecting them so that may have had some damage. The other packs still works perfectly, seem well made although Technobots packs seemed to have more protection but that means they keep their heat longer.

Actually who makes the RMP packs is BattlePacks ;)

In RioBotz we used several packs from them, both NiCd and LiFe, really good stuff.

Although a bit pricey since 2007 not even a pack had issues.

Cheers,
Eduardo
