      Information
Cyrax was built in Lincolnshire by Paul Wilcox and Ryan Pettefer in 2002, it first competed in Robot Wars Series 6 where it got to round 2 of its heat losing to defending champion Razer. Cyrax was also one of the first robots to compete at Roaming Robots when their hexagonal arena debuted in 2002 at the Newark Kit Car festival. Team Cyrax is designed as a pyramid which makes it an awkward shape for most vertical crusher to get a hold of and the flipper and axe at the front and rear means it can attack in any direction. Team Cyrax also competed in Robot Wars series 3 in 1999 with Wild Willy which lost the first round of its heat.
