      Information
Bulldog Breed was originally built by Tony Somerfield from Cannock, Staffordshire for the 3rd series of Robot Wars in 1998. The inspiration for its design came from the Staffordshire bull terrier - "Tough, Hard hitting and will fight until it drops". The robot was well known for reaching 2 heat finals in Robot Wars losing to Stinger in Series 4, Hypno-Disc in Series 5 and reached the semi-finals of Series 7 losing to X-Terminator where it was seeded 12th. It did however win the Tag Team Terror championship in Extreme 2 with Robochicken. After fighting a few events after Robot Wars, Bulldog Breed was retired before being sold to Matthew Pearman from Team Avenger in 2012. After a few events from then on, it was sold to its current owners Shane Lale of Team Tilly and co-owner Craig Danby of Team Danby, as of late 2014, Bulldog Breed is reserved as a Retro robot for the Robot Wars Live Show. The robot still retains its usual tactic it had in Robot Wars - Ram and flip.

I had originally planned to retire this robot owing to the fact that I wanted to get Kaizen 2.0 built but a minor change in circumstances
